Leave a comment, win a book!

I was thinking to myself,
"Self, how many people do you think read your blog?"
And I answered myself,
"Well, Self...I don't know. I have 25 followers, so at least 25 people do!"
But I also get comments from new people.
How did they find me?!

I've had this lovely book on my bookshelf, collecting dust.
This was HARD, as I am reluctant to let go of my precious books.
This was my first Art book.
My first foray into this crazy land of painting and journaling,
and loving (almost) every minute of it.
Gloria Page shows you how to make your own stamps,
and has MANY projects with awesome, upclose pictures
depicting all the different techniques.
Not only that, there are pages at the end of the book where you can
copy, enlarge, use to make your own stamps!

The only thing I ask of you is this.
Please leave a comment on my blog, and tell me how you found me.
And if you feel so desired (this is extra), tell me what you like or don't like.
I am genuinely curious.

I will have this giveaway open until next Sunday, the 23rd at 8:00pm.
I will then randomly pick out the winner and post it on my blog!!

Wooo! So if there are any lurkers, come out of hiding :)
Plus, I'll probably throw in a few little goodies here and there.

  1. Hi Dawn, I found you through the Sketchbook Project. That book looks really interesting.

  2. Hi Dawn,

Golly, I think I found you during OWOH. The book looks great!

  3. HI Dawn,
I think we were in an online class together, maybe?? You had visited my blog Courageously Creating and left a kind comment of some sort, so I did the same for you!

  4. Hi Dawn, I've been checking in on you for about a year. I found you through Michelle Ward's challenges. I love watching you grow as an artist!

  5. Hi Dawn,
I found your blog in Julie Prichard class, and since then stop by to see what's going on. I like that you show your work in progress.
Watching you developing as an artist is amazing!

  6. I think I found you on someone's favourite blog list, might have been iHanna's, but I'm not sure.

I like that you're one of the few art bloggers who are okay with admitting that they are not always full of inspiration and aren't always thinking about fairies and pretty colours. I can really relate to that.

  7. Hi Dawn,

I found you today. You posted a comment on one of my photos n the Sketchbook Challenge Flicker group site. Thank you!

That book looks as though it is right up my alley! I print a lot of my own fabric for my art quilts.

  8. We were classmates together, of course, in 2 (maybe more?) of Julie's classes, and I just liked your attitude and appreciated your kind words. :)

  9. Like Sally, above, I found you through one of your Flickr comments. Thank you, by the way! :) I'm always happy to meet new friends and discover new blogs such as yours. I'm glad you're pushing yourself through your sketchbook. You're doing some terrific work and it looks like you're developing a style all your own! I love your mandala page, btw. :)

  10. I'm not exactly sure how I found you...but most of the people on my blogroll I found by combing through other people's blogrolls for blogs I would enjoy. The one's that do catch my interest I add to my blogroll....stop by for a look!
